A unique exhibition and interactive creation session at Marsden Studios, in association with the Nailsworth Festival 2016!

This year the trail will lead around the garden and workshops of Marsden Studios, encompassing the garden, workshop, pottery and textile studio. Part exhibition, part performance, part workshop, the Makers Trail encompasses and celebrates all aspects of the creative process.

The event will run on Friday 27th May evening 16:00-21:00 and then on Saturday morning from 10:00-14:00.

Expect immersive art installations, live fire shows, rocket-stove demonstrations, exhibitions of hand-thrown pottery, shadow puppetry, bonfire, music and creativity…Come for a drink and see what local makers have been up to in the last year.

DIRECTIONS: From Nailsworth, follow the Horsley Road (past the town hall). The entrance to the Makers Trail is on the left directly after the temporary traffic lights. Parking at the top of the hill near the pub. It is also possible to walk through Ruskin Mill and end up in Washpool, then take a small footpath to the right when walking up Wormwood Hill which will lead into the garden of Marsden Studios.
